We’re celebrating in my household because my son received an $11,000.00 scholarship offer! This is how college matchmaking can net you a #DebtFreeDegree. My son has always had an IEP (individualized education plan). There are certain accommodations he needed in order to succeed because of his learning differences. This led us to searching for colleges that were sensitive to learning differences. Tusculum came up on a search of colleges with “block schedules.” It was also a small school, which was one of my son’s requirements. You see, my son does not have “extraordinary“ test scores or GPA, though they are each good. What we learned beyond a shadow of a doubt, is that matching the right school with the right student, can make all the difference!
